Thanks to all of you who recommended Pickguardian, Tony was really great and copied my original guard perfectly, a fantastic job. Worth every penny.

I'll post a pic or two tomorrow of the bass, I spent the rainy afternoon here putting it back together...it looks really great.

The bass had become undependable at gigs due to a faulty jackplug, so I also replaced the jackplug harness while it was apart...ready for another 26 years of playing!

Long shot for a part, but here 'goes......

Well John, it's close. I played this bass for many years and it has a little rash on it in spots, but it looks really good for as much music that's been played on it. It plays great and has fantastic action. It's my first-ever Rickenbacker, a part of me.
