In that case Bob, is it OK if I paint it with a roller? It'd save you a hundred bucks or so...
JOKE!!!

I thought that was how you finished your acoustics. I guess I'll have to wait awhile until I see that technique!!

I bumped this for Bob because I can't wait to see what a 67 AZ is going to look like. Also in a recent development, I elected to change course on my azureglo refin and decided on white. White was a color offered in 1973 and appears to be even rarer than AZ. It should look similar to Wints white RM except with checkered binding and small sharks fin inlays.
The reason for the change was my discovery of a checkered 73 AZ with the factory finish in relatively good condition. It's an ME s/n and hasn't arrived yet but here's a teaser pic....

It will be allowed to cure for a couple of days, then begins the laborious flatting and buffing. Then assembly, and a new star is born. More pics soon...

Mark, the ME isn't the one in Guitar Village in the UK is it? The one we've discussed before? (actually, I'm trying to remember if it WAS an ME...)

I believe the one at the Guitar Village was an MF s/n.

You'd think I'd remember seeing as I owned it for about a week! I wrote it down somewhere...

The bass is finished. Paul will be shipping soon. I have not seen photos but Paul assures me that it will be worth the wait.
