lol! Yes that is what I was fearing.. the dirty yellow color. (Always turns me right off old ricks)

Those are the best kind!!!
I'm not sure what kind of strap mine is, or even if it's a "bass strap" . . . my grandma bought it for me as a Christmas present; she said it was made in a shop in California somewhere. There is a leather emblem stitched onto one end that says "STEPHI" in stylized script. I'm guessing that's the maker/company? I need to see if there's a website . . . it's a really nice strap.

On the first page, my strap is the exact same one as the fourth from the left . . . it's red and has black ends. I really like it.

Levy's 4" black leather straps! Extremely comfortable...Schaller straploks are also a necessity! A nice combination.

I go to the Thrift Stores and pick out some 2 inch wide leather belts, then cut one done a bit, hook them together and put a few adjustment holes in the ends, and it makes a nice guitar strap with a bright chrome or brass buckle in front of your shoulder for about 2 or 3 dollars. Very comfortable also..
