Jim,

Sorry to say, I haven't spent much time in the "Gallery", shame on me!

Sven, if I did order a 4080, I wouldn't know to play it, no less BUILD IT!

Kevin,

Ah, Truss rods are for wimps! Image

Just slap that fingerboard on and go.

Just think, as the weather changes, it will be like having a different bass each day! Work those fingers! Who cares if the strings make the neck look like a Compound Bow! Image

I know, we can call it a WISHBASS! "I only WISH I could play it". LOL!

Did you manage to keep an extra neck? Or an extra body? I may be interested...

Paul, Bill Cosby was on The Tonight Show last week (along with the actress who plays Cloe on 24) and he was actually pretty funny. Surprised me, too!

"Tony, you have to stop eating spicy pizza before bedtime! ;)"

To which I say, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER in my best Rodney Dangerfield voice...I just have to stop ordering parts off of the RIC site late at night!

Boy, I SURE could use an extra body myself, this one is all stretched out.

Ah yes, Bill Cosby. To be honest, after his son was killed, it hurt just to look at the man. My heart REALLY went out to him. I don't know what his current situation is, but back in the day, I loved the guy!

I think I'll ALWAYS have a soft spot for the man. We grew up listening to his records. More laughs than I could count.

I'll second that Cosby performance, I was rolling. The high performance car schtick was a master at work again.

But the big white nose...kinda distracting...

"Ah, Truss rods are for wimps!"

You sound like a perfect candidate (read: sucker) for a Wish bass!

LOL!

I hear you Bill! I think UPS has TRIED very HARD to damage some of my deliveries!

Jeff,

I wouldn't touch one of those pieces of "ART" on a dare! Those things put the UG in UGLY!
I've heard of OPTIONS on a bass before, but a truss rod as an option, NO THANKS!

I actually played one briefly (tried to, anyway) at a guitar show. They don't need truss rods because the neck is as thick as an upright bass's neck!
