Yikes...think of the splinters!

Not only that, but I'm not really sure whose blood that was, so...no solo, indeed.

Jeffrey...waddya' mean back then? That was only last year...it's a 150W GMT (Gallen-Krueger) guitar head I've had since the mid-seventies...used to run the top end of my ROS through it; then as the demand for stage volume declined, I shifted to playing mono through it alone into the Sunn 4x10's you see in the picture.

Now I've got a Mesa Boogie bass head I bought used a couple of months ago from the former lead guitarist for The Fluid...I loaned it to a friend a couple of weeks ago who plugged his speaker cab into the wrong impedance jack and blew the main fuse. I replaced it and now the amp's output is subdued and fuzzy, so it's time for something I haven't had to mess with for a while: new tubes! (...valves, to you British playas...)

The joys of upgrading...

Nice to see others using vintage gear, too. I thought it was an older pic from the vintage amp you were/are using.

Obviously the amp isn't vintage ('01), but the Traynor cabs are from the mid to late '60s.
