The scene that starts something like -- "Aren't You . . ." or "You look just like . . ."

and

"We're just friends."

"You don't see many of these nowadays, do you?

"They're grotty".... "You can be replaced chicky-baby"

"Pauly, they're trying to fob you off
with this musical charlatan...but I gave him the test."

"Stop being taller than me" (Norm to Shake)

.... ok, ok, I give up.... I'll watch it this weekend for the million and second time!

She's a drag. A well known drag. We turn the sound down on her and say rude things.

There must have been some sort of legal or political problem with the team that did the two-disc DVD though because there is no participation from any of the living Four. George Martin is on it but really, do we care what the hairdresser has to say?

I say, "No. No we do not care what the hairdresser has to say."

Nor do we care what the now grown-up kid Ringo hung out with has to say, especially since he uses the opportunity to shill for his non-existent career.

So, while the movie is fun the fact that it's a two-disc set implies lots of cool stuff in the box that isn't present.

Thanks for the welcome, Greg.

Hmm. Pictures. I'll have to figure out how to do that.

I'll also add from AHDN --

"Are you a mod or a rocker?"

Ringo, "No. I'm a mocker"

Wilfred Bramble, Paul's grandfather, went on to fame as Steptoe in "Steptoe and Son", which was transmogrified and processed into "Sanford and Son" for American audiences...

Does this make him the British Redd Foxx?

He's a king mixer, that one.

Not my favourite line but definitely describes Wilfred Bramble in that film.

I thought I was supposed to be getting a change of scenery. But so far I've been in a train and a room, a car and a room, and a room and a room.

Funny how Ringo and George get all the good lines and poor Pauly, well, Pauly doesn't even get his "solo scene."

Heh heh heh.
