BTW - is yours just unbelievably heavy? And, contrary to the catalog assertion about it being balanced, does yours suffer from "head dive" ??

I have 3 2030s, a 2050, and a 3001. The white 2030 and the 3001 weigh 10.6 lbs. The Fireglo 2030 and the 2050 weigh 9.8 lbs. The Jetglo 2030 weighs 9.2 lbs. The weight doesn't bother me too much and I had back problems as a kid from a skateboarding accident, so I've been pretty good about strengthening and stretching my back.
No head dive at all. The 2030 and 3001 are very comfortable to play sitting or standing up. The 2050, not so much. Double binding kinda digs into your forearm.

My 3001 is almost 13lbs (according to the bathroom scale). And I agree with Erik, despite the weight it's actually a very comfortable bass to play.
