I was 7 when Laurie Partridge entered my living room via the TV...still my ideal woman. How sad that this is my 500th posting. Laurie Partridge.

No, I still love her. And I'm not ashamed to admit it here on this fine billboard site.

Okay, I see it. Both pretty cute, but I think I prefer Laurie based on the photos below. Who do you think would win in a fight--

or Marie?

LOL!

Jeff, I have some more REVEALING pictures of BOTH WOMEN somewhere up in my attic, packed away with my comic books and other items from my childhood. Admittedly, the Maire Osmond one is a characture....but....!

Lets just say Marie has a bit more meat on her bones! Image

"Anyone remember "down by the lazy river"?"

I've got that on cassette! I've also got a double live album of the Osmonds.

I dunno, there were always the Anti-Cools to me, going back to when they were regulars on the Andy Williams Show.

Seems people were always trying to foist clean cut kids and music on us (thank you Mike Curb) to try to ward off that evil rock and roll.

I used to know a guy named Mike who did a world tour playing lead guitar with Donny and Marie (and had the tour shirts to prove it). He was a great guitarist (played an original Rick 1997 or 335S) when I knew him. We never let him forget the Osmonds. When he was on stage, we'd yell 'Paper Roses'!
