Yeah.. . . price quotes from the smaller Mom & Pops often seem lower. . . . seemingly violating the laws of economics and efficiency of scale. Who are we to complain?

Personnally, I don't think that there are any deals to do on Rics on Ebay anymore. The only advantage is that you'll get your guitar faster than if you have to wait for the factory...for some, it's worth it!

Yeah, I want a 650, but thought for a used guitar they were asking too close to new. Plus the wood wasn't as nice as on the one owned by Jeffery Bauer (pic posted prior page. Dang beautiful axe, J.B.). If it had had a real special flame to it, maybe.

OK...having said that, I just scored an old Estey amp from eBay for $90. I have a bunch of these low powered wonders including a 57 Danelectro Cadet 22, a early '50s Magnatone Varsity, and an early '60s Fender Champ. Thank goodness for TheTubeStore.com!

I've been trying to post a photo of my 650C MG LH with a black pickguard from Don Adamek. I keep getting error messages, here goes again...

Bruce: A beautiful guitar and thanks for taking the time to post it.

Profjeff: The Tubestore is a great place to buy tubes.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Thanks guys. The chrome pickguard that came on the guitar looked terrible. The metal has waves all over it as if it not been properly leveled. There were only 2 screws holding it on ( at each end), and since it wasn't flat either the controls moved when you used them. I added the third screw to the new guard. The black matched the truss rod cover better than the chrome also.
