New RIC bass or goe for this deal

I do want to get a RIC again and am waiting to hear from Mike Parks regarding one. I sent an email to him Monday night but no response yet. The Ampeg would be a good amp for me and my money can only go in so many directions right now. On a side note has anyone used the Yamaha BB614 and if so how did you like it. The reason I'm asking is I could get the Ampeg and the Yamaha for less than the RIC I'm interested in. Thanks
