I have Please Please me all the way to Let It Be minus the White Album. My uncle wanted that one. They were his records and my mom bought them from him for me, but he kept that one because he wanted the pictures. So anyone have a White Album they don't want? Image

I also had some of the american releases, but I sold them at a garage sale like an idiot because I don't think of those ones as "real". (No my tenses aren't messed up, I don't think of the american records as real.) I think I had Meet The Beatles, Something New, Beatles VI, Hey Jude, and maybe something else.. not sure.

I also Have Red Rose Speedway, Band On The Run, Pipes Of Peace and Imagine.

I have a great many albums from the American releases, most are original '60's editions. I also have a lot of singles with picture sleeves. In addition, I have a few bootlegs and picture discs.

I have a vast worldwide Beatles vinyl collection (LPs, 45s, and EPs). As a matter of fact, me and my friend Dave Rauh who probably has the largest collection of worldwide Beatles vinyl in the Midwest are once again showing off our collection at "The Fest For Beatles Fans" in Chicago in August. We're doing a special display this year for the 40th anniversary of Sgt. Pepper! Any forum members that happen to be in Chicago for the Fest in August be sure to stop by and say Hi!

I have some Oz colored pressings on Parlophone and Apple. Also, quite a few of boots including various versions of the Get Back/Let It Be album.
I love the White Album on Apple records on white vinyl. Beautiful contrast with the white and green.
Would love a copy of the White Album in Mono original pressing.
I do have a copy of Revolver Japanese import mono on red vinyl.
Also, Please Please Me Oz import on Orange Parlophone label. Beautiful.

Yes, I still collect vinyl and procure new artists on vinyl if available.

I have an 80s mono White Album... I also have the German pressing of The Worlds Best. Which in my opinion is one of the best covers I've seen.

I've got most of their American releases on LP, I think also except for the White Album in fact. Mine are mostly Capitols, some are original 60's monos but most are later stereos. I love the sound of the early Stereo Capitol albums, especially the reverb drenched 2nd album.
I also love eBay, have bought many a thing there I never would have found in a million years anywhere else.

I just listed some nice stuff (call it spring cleaning, even if spring's not here yet) if anyone's looking to fill a hole or two in their collection:

I have all the original Capitol albums in mono and "Duophonic" stereo. Also some of the oddball ones like the MGM release of the Bert Kaempfert-Tony Sheridan-Beatles recordings in BRIGHT GREEN, an original VeeJay "Introducing The Beatles", "The Beatles Story" and an original "butcher" cover. And also a ton of Capitol picture cover 45s.

But I was a young idiot at the time and didn't take excellent care of them. They're all intact, but nowhere near mint condition. That's OK, I'm not an investor, and anyway, who knew back then? Now you buy two copies of everything and double bag one copy in its' original wrapper and hope it'll increase in value 1000%.

The only things I took care of from my wasted youth were (thank goodness) my '64 Gretsch 6120 and my '80 Rick 360/12. But I ain't selling those either.

I somehow thought this thread (from reading the title) was about Apple's decision to raise the price--pre-release--of the two-LP "Love" set from $34.99 to $44.99. Ten bucks more and you get picture sleeves and a 28-page booklet with your two 180-gram vinyl pressings.

But it's not. That's fine.

I go through quite a bit of vinyl and while there are some rare and valuable Beatles pieces, the bulk of whats out there is not worth that much....remember The Beatles were kinda popular selling millions of copies of the well known releases. I've owned three Yesterday, Today And Tomorrow's w/The Butcher cover..now THAT one is worth some serious change but in reality there are even tons of those out there..most people that have one don't know it...
