Hey, I can't claim every one.......I may have had no impact on Ray's decision. Why or how he decided doesn't matter.......he'll never be the same.
I did score another convert at MARF though (with a John Biscuti assist). Todd Mossholder became fascinated with my LK in the hands of JB, the I beat the 4004 merits into him until he broke down and was planning on ordering an available 4004L/BBR from POTR.
We won't be the ignored stepchild for much longer at this rate. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
The assimilation of Todd.....

"Another one bites the dust".
Well Brian, between you and Jeff Rath, and recently John B., be it warranted or not, I think of you guys when I think of 4004's.
A while ago, Jeff suggested I try the original 4004. While I LOVED the FEEL of the bass, it just didn't cut through the mix.
Now I have come to realize I didn't give it a fair shot. I was playing it through a 100W Fender Bassman. Now that I have a kicking Ampeg, and have heard the difference it has made on all my other RIC's, I figured I'd give it another shot. Not to mention the fact that it had some heavy use and who knows what the previous owner may have done to it.

Welcome aboard the 4004 train, Ray and Todd!!
It will be interesting when the 4004 is programmed and being run on the cnc machines... Will RIC be able to make HB1s fast enough!!!
