Wow - that link led me down a 1/2 hour trail of looking at videos by Danny Gatton, Vice Gill, Jerry Reed and Chet Atkins. If ugly guitars can inspire all that, I'm all for them. I need to start practicing!

Wow! I am amazed to find this on here! I actually know Tim Wallis, as he has been a mainstay on the Central Illinois music scene for quite a few years now. He also has a morning show on WDZQ 95.1 FM out of Decatur, IL on weekdays. When I first met him, he played a Strat, then a Samick Ray Benson model with a B-Bender. What he does in this video is nothing compared to what I have seen him do live. Tim is an INCREDIBLE guitarist, to say the least, and if you ever get to meet him, one heck of a nice guy also.

I think he might have the designing guitar/practice balance a little wrong
That said, it's designed to fit him - check out the elbow levers (al'a knee levers from a pedal steel)
