Gorgeous Ric pics as usual, Paul!
The cresting wave is one of the prettiest guitar shapes there is.... and I find that my 615 is one of the most tonally versatile Rics in my arsenal.
I'd love to hear some of that Rickensurf music--sounds waaaaay cool!

Excellent use of the deck, Paul! The 625 looks magnificent!
Like Dean, for me the Cresting Wave comes in a close second to the 325/350 body style.
Congrats on a great family.... and pics, too!!

I seem to love all Rickenbackers but it seems that I've always kept a number of cresting wave models. Right now, I've got a '60 420, two '61 450s, '61 460, '62 625, '63 625, '64 615, '64 450/12 and a '93 650D. Also have a couple of their older brothers, '57 Combo 450s with transitional cuts. I guess they're addicting!

Keep riding those waves Paul. That '67 is outstanding.
Maybe it's time we started a cresting wave appreciation thread.

Funny thing about those pics, JDog...
I had all 4 of these on stands in my living room...still in my bathrobe...carried them downstairs and onto the deck. Only had the Sony point 'n' shoot, but it is an 8MP, so I set it on BIG (5MB) and cracked off ten shots as quick as I could take 'em.
When I got to my office and downloaded the chip, I had five nice shots. Nice camera and good fortune in this case.
I will do a poster...nothing but a title and legal. The guitars are really nice visually, I think.
