It's quiet . . . too quiet!

Hehe...
Well, I was winding some bass pickups, after which I picked up (no pun intended) Susanna's twin sister, plugged her into the mike socket on one of my stereos, put on my headphones, put a record on the turntable, and let it rip. Jaclyn is looking great after her facelift, if I do say so myself. I'll try and post some pictures of her soon. Have a powerful day, everybody.

A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.
Weather....
Ah yes, it is 12:07am EST here in Florida....the first OFFICIAL day of hurricane season.
I have a BAD feeling this year is going to be a rough one.
Oh, and yeah, it does get kinda hot here too!

We've just had a few days of a terrible (by our local standards - i understand that for some of you it may be simply "warm") heat - around +35 C, and that's in May! We haven't had that kind of heat in May for about 150 years. Today, we finally have some fresh air and wind - hooray!
Nothing will get you dead quicker than being deadly serious about yourself.

Already purchased a fresh supply of 16 Mil plastic bags, lots of duct tape, and are relocating them to HIGHER GROUND just in case the lake in front of my house comes to visit....AGAIN!

Thanks Jim, I always knew you were a wonderful, caring, and helpful person!
Jeff Scott is also on my list for EMERGENCY relocation purposes.

My family doesn't even bother getting together. We all just have a contingency plan to meet at the main post office in Valdosta, GA. We don't even know where that is, but it's always a good meeting place, because every town has one, and most people there know where it is.
And I have insurance, so I'll just pack up the few irreplacables and the rest can swim!
