I think its sweet!! and since the powers at be absolutly WILL NEVER REISSUE one of these . I hope they all come out of the woodwork . I will certainly buy one.

A faker is a faker is a faker. Either they steal intellectual property with every copy of any model or there is no problem ever. You can't have it both ways.

The attitude that RIC shouldn't be able to hold intellectual property rights to designs they aren't currently producing is disgraceful, and goes against the law of any country that respects such rights.
Why do people think the law does not apply to them just because they don't agree with it?
No debate on this would even be required if people had respect for the law and other people's property. Stealing a design is no different from stealing someone's car. Even if RIC never produced another 4005, they have already paid for, and currently own the design, just like I own my car.
The reason people may not react to rickenfakers with such outrage any more is because some people are sick of explaining the same thing over and over again to people who fail to understand the issue. It has nothing to do with fraud, it has nothing to do with quality, it has nothing to do with demand, it has nothing to do with competition - it has to do with theft, and publicly stating on an internet forum that you would happily purchase stolen goods, is not helpful to anyone's cause.
I don't justify stealing because I just don't steal.
