Sorry-my mistake. The "Bird" guitar parts are indeed two part; kinda major 3rds, minor 6th type riff that's unique. The middle eight lead behind the vocal is hairy also-sounds very "Harrison". Sounds like Harrison & Macca to me, but I'm not for sure......

I read a Joe Walsh interview where he said he learned it solo, and later George told him it was
twinned. For some reason I always thought George & Paul played it.Not to say Lennon could'nt play
the lead, but I could see those two work it out
in my mind.Good TONE!Bye.

George recently told Bernie Hamburger that he and Paul played it.

Anyone have a link to Bernie Hamburger? Marty's right - the tone is excellent.

Bernie is a friend of mine who happens to be a killer luthier who has built George several guitars including this one that he used in the "Real Love" video. http://www.rivernet.net/~nickster/ham1.jpg Here is Bernie's website http://www.hamburguitar.com He has also built quite a few guitars for several other big-name artists too.

I'll betcha the "Good Evening and Welcome to Slaggers'" rhythm bit in "You Know My Name" is a Mellotron.
