They carry hot tubs ... in the boutique too?
Ah, good news! I'll order one in fireglo to go with my 360/12 string when it gets here.

I want mine with checkerboard binding and vintage jets. Prolly take two years to deliver, though, instead of one year

Are we talking about Guitars and Basses or Hot Tubs? I'd like MY hot tub to have checkerboard binding too!

Depends on what you mean by custom. In the sense of hand built, they already are, compared to other companies non-custom shops.

You folks are exceptionally silly.
Rath and Wilczynski are both correct, the section of our website (which most people would call "Store") is called our Boutique.
Elys is also correct, but no, I'm not on vacation until Thursday afternoon at 4:30pm PST.
I disagree to the notion that we're a boutique company though. I think of those as having one or two masterbuilders on the payroll and that's it. We have an assembly line, with most steps hands-on. I also think of a boutique company as putting out far smaller quantities than we do, at a higher cost (and rightfully so, in most cases).
The RIC hot tub does indeed come in all of the "ColorGlo" finishes. The second prototype is being installed at my house while I'm out of town. JH has the deee-lux version though.

Ah HA! So John Hall gets the checkerboard binding and the sparkley inlays on HIS hot tub, eh?
Wait, don't tell me, the most logical color for a Rickenbacker Model 10000 Hot Tub is...(drum roll please).....JETglo?
Or would it be FIREglo when the heater gets turned up too high?
......ok, going quietly back to my corner now, Kenny...
Happy Vacation, by the way!

My Dad once told me it was natural for young teenage boys to masterbuild. He also said to use hand lotion to avoid blisters...

Sorry Elys, but that was one stroke over the line.
