Wow. What photos. He takes a Sharpie to the 'guard on his JB...his stuff looks like it's been dragged through a litter box...

I'm hoping to have a RIC TR35B in time for the SoCal confluence. Then I could stack it on top of my RB-120. Image

Hey, Joey, that RB-120 does really fine on its own! Very solid sound out of a smaller combo!

I now have the amp at home and I'm totally blown away with the tone of this combo. I can't quite believe that there are no valves inside it, it sounds and responds very much like a scaled down version of my old 1973 Hiwatt Custom 100 head and Hiwatt 2x15 cab.

One question I have is that there are two channels on the amp. Channel 1 is much louder than channel 2. Is this normal?

A rather pleased with himself, Bob

PS : thanks for all the info on this amp from fellow members. I was pleased to get it for quite a bit less than £250,000.00 and a TR7.

Congrats on the amp, Bob! My RB-120 has two inputs, one is louder than the other. I'm assuming it's normal operation.

Bob, two years ago someone asked for an instruction manual for a TR35B, here was my reply...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
>>> Does anyone have a instruction manual for the TR35B Bass amp?

David, I can supply an instant condensed instruction manual.....

1, Plug it it to wall socket.
2, Turn it on.
3, Plug bass in.
4, Twist knobs to taste.
5, Twang strings as required.

Regarding the different levels of the two channels...

They are probably two different input levels, i.e. a high impedance level input and a low impedance level input.
