"I dunno, anyone with fenderbass in their profile e-mail should be disqualified!"

Do I detect a little jealousy???
I've used this email for years yet my hands have only been graced by RIC basses for 13 months.....
....I now own seven. Image

C'mon everyone,

Play nice...Image

Let's not turn a good deed into a tiff that Alisha regrets doing.

As far as the show of RIC muscle, I'm amazed at some of the beautiful basses you guys own.

Oh and Ben, I'll take the second from the right please.....oh by the way, is that a Tele bass on the far left? I've never seen one before, that is cool!

I agree Tony.. Alisha's gesture was so very kind and we are both happier than we can say. Hat's off to Alisha she is a very giving person who not only shared her poster .. but two phenomenal trips with us... I do not think you will find many Alisha's around.. maybe I will work on becoming more Alisha like.. it certainly could not hurt. Again many thanks to Alisha!! See you at the bar...

I'm just having fun with it all! I really do appreciate Alisha's efforts. She is too kind. Image
Actually the Blue Boy isn't mine...but I do have a '78 WhiteBT 4001 that's not in the picture.
They are from left to right: A brand new 100% parts TeleBass for sale, a 72 Telecaster bass highly modded,
an 89 4003S, an 83 White 4003 BT, an 05 BlueBoy FL that belongs to Kris Nocula,
an Aug 73MG, a 77 Walnut and another 89 4003S.
My Dec 73 4001 is in Dale Fortune's hands now getting a face-lift.

And Tony...I really like the "Ode to Chris Squire"
I couldn't rhyme if I had a dictionary to go by.
...NICE JOB!

Tammy: Like a feather, if that even... Image

I am 6'4" and only 230, but it takes lots of muscle to hide the fat.

I have to confess that I am as much a Steve Howe fan as I am Chris Squire. True, Squire's bass sound was what first caught my ear as unique and better-than-McCartney, and I had the early Yes albums as British copies three years before Fragile hit the States, but I also loved the early Chicago years with Pete Cetera, Return to Forever with Stanley Clarke (and anything else that I have ever heard Clarke play, what a fast and tasty pizzicato!), and most John Paul Jones and Entwhistle stuff too. Then there were the johnny-com-latelies, like Geddy who were pretty good too.

That being said, I would have given my eyeteeth for a poster like that Image It's been 33 or 34 years since I went to my first Yes concert, the Fragile tour. I even wangled a backstage pass to meet them on the Going For The One tour in Jackson MS in 1977-78 through the recording studio for whom I was a session player at the time.

The new silicate replacement implants are pretty good these days, I hear... so, any takers??? Image Image

OT, but Elys you should get the new remastered release of Chicago at Carnegie Hall. It's 4 CDs of that awesome band from 1971. Cetera sounds great on bass but it's Terry Kath that I am a huge fan of.
