Nice looking bass Will Lee has there. He does look a bit puzzled though. He's one of the best.

I hear a lot of pros do that(tape) to keep from accidently plugging in the wrong hole. I don't think he's confused, that's just a case of "bass face", my wife laughs at mine all the time.

This same picture was here a year or two ago (in Rickenbacker Artists I think), we even had the same discussion about the tape.
