Five most recently played albums, according to iTunes:

Symphony No. 5 in C Minor, op. 67 (as performed by the Academy of Ancient Music & conducted by Christopher Hogwood).
Arnold Schoenberg's String Quartet #2 in F#m.
Wilco - Sky Blue Sky
Bright Eyes - Cassadaga
Bach's Brandenburg Concerto no. 2 in F, BWV 1047.
The Smiths - Best of the Smiths Volume II

For a long drive, and as a honorable mention, I have to reccomend Sufjan Stevens - Illinois.

There are no CDs in my CD player. However, practically my entire CD collection is on my iPod plug in through a cassette tape adapter. It seems strange that I am using the cassette tape adapter. I tried the wireless devices but they had more interference.

In my car (I'm currently on a throwback kick):

Willie Nelson - 16 Biggest Hits
George Jones - Greatest Hits
Earth, Wind & Fire - Alive in '75
Earth, Wind & Fire - Hits Compilation

and, XM-167 Air America Radio

[Side note: I finally got a new car (after 11 years) - an '07 Toyota Yaris. One cool thing about it is that it has an auxiliary-in jack, right next to the shift lever between the seats (of all places). I run my XM MyFi into the aux in jack, and that way, I can flip back and forth between XM and CD's by hitting one button on the dashboard, and both are crystal clear. I love it.]

!

I usually have several CDs in the car, but I just cleaned it out.

But there is one. It's called Basil, a compilation of demo tapes made by Joey Molland of Badfinger from the early 1970s to the present. He lives out here, lent it to a fellow who fixed his computer, and that fellow lent it to me. Basil, I think, was his dog.

Now the iPod...I hook that up to the car stereo and listen to hundreds of things randomly.

Melissa, I'm sure you must know that Mke Stand is a Rickenbacker player. I know that he owned a JG acoustic. I forget if it is a 700 or a 730 though. He's had a number of other Ricks too. Nice guy.

In my CD player:
Paul McCartney - Memory Almost Full
Hautewerk
Tears For Fears - Elemental
Stone Temple Pilots - Greatest Hits
U2- Best Of

On the iPod:
2500+ songs :-)
