Get a chrome tail piece and tuners and that will be one beautiful bass!

Hey Scott -
Here are a couple of ideas for your consideration. First, here's your original pic for reference:
Then option 1 - with black bridge PU surround and chrome knobs to accent the chrome toaster:
Then option 2 - with white toaster PU cover and white bridge PU bobbin AND white knobs: (borrowing Jeff's Theory Of Negativity)

Thats some pretty cool photoshopping there Mark.
However, I'm kinda liking the way it looks now.

Thanks. I had fun messing around with your bass' aesthetics. (slow business day!) It's definitely a great looker as is. I think the most I'd do if it were my bass is consider chroming the bridge saddles to emphasize the chrome theme.

But then it would look like an AllParts bridge!

Originally the white/black trim basses were all chrome, only the plastic was black, I had one. I always liked that color scheme better than when they switched to black metal.

Yeah, my very first RIC was like that. Im really leaning that direction due to sentimental reasons.

Update. After playing with the toaster for a while I realized that the "essential" growl was there, but not quite as pronounced as with the high gain.
So, I decided to go back with the high gain again.
Hey, you dont know unless you try,, right????

Thanks Harry! She's a great bass, I chose the front seat of my Polaris Ranger for the photo. Seemed to accent the white / black nicely.

That's the fanciest lawnmower I've ever seen.

That looks killer!
I've got the early 90s "hot" toasters on all my Ric basses. They read like 12K on my meter. Big tone!
