Sorry, this is a '70's reference that I hope Roy will forgive, but if you ever have the chance, pick up a copy of the triple album by Creme and Godley called "Consequences"...if you can find it, that is.

Great music throughout, a lot of it featuring their guitar mod/invention, the Gizmotron...also starring Peter Cook as Mr. Blint, the musical composer who saves the world.

No problem see topic Revamp Dane. Never heard of that album to be honest but then again never really a fan.

Outstanding! Thanks very much, Roy...I would never have thought to go looking for such a site.

I'll be delving into it at length...the first new (to me) bit of information I encountered right there on the home page was that the 'play' was written by Cook. Makes all the sense in the world, in retrospect...

I find that album to be startlingly prophetic, in that humanity's next big make-or-break challenge may not be reconciling religion or politics, tourism or terrorism. It's looking more like we'll be dealing with the 'consequences' of what we've done to the weather...
