I am waiting till the day I come across a mint 4003s/8 FG or hopefully the day will arrive when RIC produces the 4004Cii/8. I have been looking at other brands though and there was a brand new Schecter Stilleto Studio 8 string on e-bay 2 weeks ago. It was tempting and the price was right but I'll wait till a RIC comes my way! I want to feel the full fury of a RIC 8 string!!!

Yes you should sell that 8 banger-to me of course! See if you can contact the 'surfrat' I believe he has a custom RIC 8 stringer as well as several 12's of other brands.
Stick with the 8-it'll come, gradually depending upon your style. You know RIC did offer octave stringing conversions at one time. Someone here had it done.
If no go, Jeff's got 1st dibs-I'll take seconds...

Nick don't sell it, you'll regret it! They don't make them any more and are more and more valuable all the time. Someday you'd be telling people, yeah, I had one of those 8 string Rics, you know the ones that are worth 5 grand now, I sold it like an idiot for $1500. (at least that's what I say for all the things I've sold over the years.
But if you do, I'm third in line haha! (even though I'm broke)

Back onto the subject of turquoise, here's a close-up of the back of the neck on my 360 TUR:
Note that it has some interesting texture to it which makes it change color depending on the lighting angle.

Last week at this time I would have said that there's no such thing as too much turquoise. I stand corrected.
Note color of hair relative to the original. Both RIC and teen are much more vibrant in person.

Is it my computer (in this internet café) or does that bass look like Midnight Blue?
Yeah she looks a little bored Lindsay, 15th take? Nice looking bass.

Thanks, Bob. No, she's not bored, actually she really gets in to the Forum stuff, I think it's the "I hope silliness isn't genetic" look.
The bass is a bright Turquoise and the fretboard is an almost shocking orange color, it's just poor light. Yan I ain't.

Yan you ain't? Well you are a lot better than I am. My photos are lucky if you can tell the kind never mind the color. I love the Turquoise color.
