Conan O'Brien has the BEST band of all the television talk shows. Vivino rules! And he has a superb collection of instruments.

Conan does indulge in far too much inane humor -but he's still easier to watch than Letterman (the single most baffling career in TV history).

But man, Against Me was terrible.

If I had a talk show like Conan's, I'd buy me some Replacement Hair from a hair surgeon like he has Image

Plus I would do like he does and get really cool new acts to play, deserving folks that would never get Top Farty airtime from a A&R rep-owned teen-structured radio format broadcaster community.

What Dave said! Image

And I logged on expecting something about Conan The Cimmerian.....I thought it was doubtful he'd be a 360 fan. Looks more like a Les Paul guy to me....Image

I think I read that he has a nice collection of vintage Gretsch guitars.

Noel, I too have heard that he is a huge Gretsch collector.

I've seen him on the show playing a Tele. I think he also uses a Martin acoustic for some bits.

When Springsteen was on the show a few years ago, Conan joined in on a nice cherry 335.

Saw a Rick in the Max Weinberg band last night! But I don't know my non-bass models well enough...Image

But it was Mapleglo.

In addition to Conan, Tom Hanks and Jorja Fox (Seidel on CSI) are both Ric fans. I've read that Hanks keeps a 360/12, not sure of the particulars, in his office. Fox has talked about having a vintage Ric in an interview that she plays. And as far as Conan still being funny, I know that I can still find laughs there when I can't on Leno, etc.
