Do keep in mind, it will take time to get decent at it, but this will add to your arsenal of things you can offer to a band.

i have both a 4003 ric and a warwick corvette standard, both fretted. i wouldn't want to part with either. i absolutely enjoy playing them both. imo, the warwick is the most solid bolt on i've ever played. very nice snap & pop bass. and the ric, smooth as silk with a growl when i feel mean. i think the fretless would be very fun to play as well.

That bass looks like the one Jack Bruce used in the 2005 Cream reunion ...
I am not a fretless guy and I am not really interested in 4 string basses ...
