Being a Londoner (still sunny by the way), I have a copy and have read it from cover to cover - in all honesty, its a nice tribute but you won't find many insights or new bits of information there, especially given the advanced level of knowledge of the most frequent contributors to this Forum!

Most interesting thing is a short interview with Mr Hall in which he says he's not much into further signature models, that there may well have been some missing production numbers for the CS model, and that - not surprisingly - Rick fans are such ardent devotees that any time he tweaks things slightly there are howls of protest (which stops him making many changes at all)!

BGM - easy one, Beer Gut Monthly!

Anyone find a source here in the US?

I went ahead and subscribed from here in the US on their web site - 17 pounds sterling for 6 ishes per year. But you can start your sub from two ishes back and be guaranteed to get (eventually via slooowwww mail) this issue...

Hey Mark, you mean My Hero JH said THAT!!!???!! I am sure the Hall of Rick is not such a whiner, he must have been grievously misquoted by the cruel media deux et machina...Image

If they printed that, then it must be true.

I just broke down and subscribed via their website, with this issue (#32) as the first one. I went to that "Newsland" place I remembered. Lots of magazines, but not that great of a music magazine selection. In fact, I think that the local "Barne's & Noble" had a better selection of bass and guitar magazines.

The other snippet is that Ric have an idea for another bass and guitar, but production is so backed up it can't be done yet.

I really thought the JH interview was a nice one to read, but if you want to know about anything other than the 4001 / 4003 models, the rest of the Ric content in the mag was nothing to get excited about.

"The other snippet is that Ric have an idea for another bass"

That would be the 4001V68! Image

sill, probably "Not even close."
