I was never strong in mathematics. But all these %% are in fact points based on 4-3-2-1, or what Roy?!

82.5% voted Bobby Darin #1,
75% voted Marty Wilde #1 etc. or that's how I read it.
I'm surprised more people did not recognize
Dion and the Belmonts.

To clarify I give 4 points for your number 1, 3 for number 2 etc.
Therefore for sake of simplicty, if 10 people vote, maximum points would be 40 meaning everyone chose that version as their number 1
Therefore if 8 people chose a particular version as their number 1 and 2 others chose it as their number 2 a total of 38 points would be amassed, the % therefore would be reflected as 38/40 i.e 95%.
In the case of Dreamlover Darin amassed 33 points Wilde 30.
In reality 50% of those who did take part chose Darin's version and 40% chose Wilde 10% chose Dion, no one chose Lulu as their favourite.
I chose to use the % method as it seemed better than just saying "based on the 5 people who voted".
Actually more than 5 did take part on this one, so thanks for taking the time.

I'm afraid two of us aren't enough for a support team, Einar... (and i cannot understand the math either, shame on me - all those fifteen years of learning were in vain

)

I get it, 8 x 4 points ( 4 points for #1) is 32 and 2 x 3 points (3 points for #2) is 6, 32 and 6 is 38.
38 is 95% of 40. That's complicated for us math challenged people Roy and is pretty good math.
