"Mark Walker's bass, kind of has a sister bass now."

HA! Definitely the Yin to my Yang, (or vice-versa... not sure which is which.)

REALLY nice painting, Corey. Love how you used the clear PG's to optimize your canvas area. How did you address the neck PU cavity? I ran a plastic tube through the routing holes to run the wire though, then filed the top with some kind of wood putty. (It's been awhile since I did mine - can't recall some details.)

Jackabacker

I once had the fleeting thought to change my TRC to "Rikkenbacker"

Thanks for all of the compliments! This was an interesting one to get going.
I have to admit that the other jobs I'm doing have kept me from the final bit of wiring, and finally firing this little girl up...though I have gotten some insight into what a transition 4003 bass neck does under tension, and how the old-style truss rods settle in.
The strings are Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flats, by the way. Lord Bongo's favorite strings, and an excellent choice for the pickup combination.

If only McCartney had gotten something like this from The Fool - instead of the hack job he did himself....

Great work
