Actually, Aitch, nope. I should clarify that I did not use the word in reference to anyone, but rather in a conversation with a student who was asking me what pirates called their women...I answered and the complainant was within earshot.

Ironically, Juliana came home from school yesterday with a handout featuring a glossary of pirate slang to use today. In it was--you guessed it--"wench".

She went to school today dressed like a pirate. There will be many stuffed parrots in class today, too, judging from what I saw on the playground.

Arrrrrrrrggghghhhhhh!!!!!!

Arrrrrggggghhhhh--that's cool, Paul! My kids wore their pirate t-shirts from Disneyland to school today....
