Ron, I'm putting a small fortune on Port
Have you guys buried that SEC pole under the circle yet? You can't win until ya do that!

Woohoo!! The Milky Bars are on me!
No need, Gerry....... we'll bury Port instead!
I must admit to being nervous about this one. If we can't keep the Cornes and Burgoyne brothers quiet it's going to be really,
really tough..... and they are all in great form!

Remember though Howard, we had a few very good players out of the side that lost to PA. I'm sure the boys will do us proud come 5pm Saturday!
BTW congrats on your win, but Milky Bars???? Don't you mean Crownies?

Er..... yes indeed!
Won't be
that many, though Ron...... most of it is going into the 'SoCal '08' fund!

Yes Howard best of luck to Geelong, I think they'll need it. Somehow I think Port will overpower them.

Any club other than a Victorian one, eh?

Eastcoast/Westcoast rivalry! Amazing how these interlopers couldn't wait to enter the Victorian competition!
Whoever wins today,it's still the sporting event that genuinely stops the nation, not some lame horserace!
The BBQ is fired up, the beers are chilled, the TV is on,guests are arriving, the kids are dressed in their football jumpers and it's game on here!
The cats are clearly the best team in the competition this year, but that doesn't exclsively mean they will win today. But i'm hoping!
GO CATS!!!!

Congratulations to the cats!
Howard will have one hell of a hangover when he finally comes down to earth.
It was a fantastic win after a 43 year drought.
Now the long wait for season 2008.

Well, what can I say?? A truly memorable day and a huge boost for the City of Geelong. They've done it tough down there for many years and this result will mean a heck of a lot to many, many people.
I'm not afraid to admit that I had tears running down my cheeks after the game. Footy down here is very much a passion thing for die-hard supporters..... just ask Joe and Frank!
The first call I received after the game was from fellow forumite, Cats supporter and good friend Ron Viney...... how good is
that??!!
No hangover here, Frank..... even though I
did have quite a few!
