Good point Dave, but jetglo is just too boring for this baby. AFG it is, warts and all. Now... the search for parts begins...

How 'bout Mapleglo, add a 3rd pickup, and some Byrd wiring?

Glad you chose AFG, Jason. I have become a fan of the old aged FGs, like the basses Wints has. A darker FG, and relic it if you want. It is yours. I wouldn't, but that is just me, my preference. Go for the mojo!

I'd go for a period correct AFG also...

You know, JDog, AFG, even with some "warts" and filled screw holes or whatever, looks really charming. Long as it has a nicely-ambered center to the burst!

I have an R tailpiece and pickguards if you need those.

...if it's the toilet seat model...

Charming description, Dale! Image

I have never heard it called that before.

You haven't, Jeff?

I've been calling it that on this Forum for a couple of years, now!

I haven't come across it, but great description. I don't read all the guitar related posts; I suppose I should for gems like that! Image

Lots of gems here, Jeff, and not only from Dale and me!

Jeff, we tagged that description on it back in the late 60's due to the shape of the body.

Maybe Toiletglo could be a special COY just for 360s!

Toilet glo-a sort of "Ty-D Bowl" translucent blue that ghosts into a translucent white towards the center? For an extra small charge the purchaser would receive case candy in the form of a miniature Ty-D Bowl bottle shaped glass guitar slide, or full size bottle filled with Rickenbacker guitar picks.

Perfect, the whole body could be covered in it, like some of those funky '60s guitars.
