paul toyota of the ricks beside the one you mentioned was my 1979 620/12azu. it was simply horrible guitar. i almost tend to desribe it as 1989 nissan sentra instead. :-)

Then it would have been a 1984 Hyundai Excel. What was so horrible about it? Please, no generalities, Dusan.

the neck was even narrower at the nut than normal 12 string ricks like 1 7/16 it was a log and headstock heavy. the fretboard radius was completely inconsistent - around 6 at first four frets than 7 and a hair and than again 6.5 from 12th fret to the end. the action had to be set high to avoid fretting out in the middle. it was very pretty with the azu paint but it was unplayable for me. i considered having refet and re_radiusing done and than sold it to japan instead.
