Found this one in a pile of old newspaper clippings when up visiting my parents. I'm starting to understand why my grandmother used to call me "Tall and Spooky". Found another where I'm playing an old Hagstrom H1 bass - only I don't ever remember playing a Hagstrom H1 at any time at any place in my entire life. Once the mind goes, it's all downhill from there...

This is a pic a performance I did a while back when I was part of a project called The Bob Amos Band; I did one album with Bob, an accomplished musician manily known in the Bluegrass community, head the band Front Range.
I'm playing my Wal Bass at this concert which I used on most of the sessions for the 'Reels of Life' CD....

That stuff was from the opening act I believe---I have a Jazz too, I absolutely love it....it's a lefty of course...

Here's one of my swamp ash Carvin B4. Sounds great and is nearly weightless. It can really get that '80's hair-band tone. Its one of my favorites.
