No shallow, no crazy, and don't you love the figuring on Todd's MG 330/12?

Hmm. Was that you that emailed me today on the AFG 4003?brianeharmonjr wrote:I also have a '80 4001 in jetglo that I'd love to swap out for a newer 4003 in another color, not because I don't like the bass, but I just don't care much for black guitars. I got a good deal on it, and that's why I bought it, but I'd rather have it in a different color. It may be a bit shallow, but I'm sure some of you have gone through a similar situation.
Wow.... I think both of Todd's 12-stringers are gorgeous!jingle_jangle wrote:No shallow, no crazy, and don't you love the figuring on Todd's MG 330/12?
It very well could have been. I messaged a few people, and I've had some positive responses from a couple of people. I've also posted the bass in the for sale section with pictures if anybody's interested.nyrkickazz1 wrote:Hmm. Was that you that emailed me today on the AFG 4003?
Have you tried POTR?janglerocker wrote:...Will be putting toasters and a trapeze on the 12 as soon as I get my hands on a trapeze tailpiece. N/A in the Rick boutique currently. Should have grabbed one last year.
Agreed! This is the big one. I had a 330 '98 and got hold of a '92 V Series in around '99. The difference in the spacing of these two instruments for a 12 string was dramatic. That issue is not as serious in the C Series due to the neck radius being different, which results in what feels like a wider spacing.chronictown wrote:Playability, until quite recently, was a little different between the two models, as the string spacing on the 360/12 was a tad narrower at the nut to accomodate the neck binding. Now 360/12s and 330/12s come with the same (wider) nut spacing, so on brand-new or very recently built 12-strings this will be a non-issue.
