just picked it up from the office. a few quick pics (just noticed that the keys are still in the case, in the original bag).

included: original strings (in a Rotosound string package, ssitting underneath the polishing cloth), polishing cloth, keys, pup cover.

pics in the daylight to come once it is polished up.

Very nice bass, it's in great shape alright.

Interesting that it has a blue cloth in the case, I had thought they did away with those in the late 60's....

When I got my '77 MG 4001, it came in a blue-cloth lined case just like that one.

Congrats Bryce, that bass looks stunning. Nice burst, unlike some recent single-pass clownglo's.

How do those Maxima's sound? Are they anything like TI Jazz Flats? My favorite strings for 70's Rics are old dead roundwounds. Dead rounds sound good even with - dare I say it? - the cap :wink:

Ilan, i haven't had a chance to play it yet with the Maxima's. an old set of Roto wounds were strung-up when i received it, it is now de-strung for cleaning/polishing. i will give the Maxima's a go when it is back together and compare them to the TI's which will most likely be the strings i keep on it.

My bad; What I meant to say was 'blue polishing cloth'.....I agree that the case lining is fine.
