Re: Favourite Western
Tomestone, the best western script ever writen. Val Kilmer's best preformance, he should have won an Oscar. Endlessly quote-able. `I don't have to go heels to put a bulge on a tub like you`. `...If I thought we wern't friends anymore I just couldn't bare it.` `I'm dying, how are you ?` etc.

Another thought regarding Liberty Valance, the song never made it into the movie but was still sucessfull for Gene Pitney. Try playing it sometime. Rather tricky and quite interesting cord progression. Somehow it turns into a blue grass tune when I play it
Re: Favourite Western
How about:
Paint Your Wagon - Got to give props to Eastwood for trying to sing
Cat Ballou - Fonda was nice eye candy in the day
Really though, I like Two Mules for Sister Sarah

Can't make up my mind: either "The Rounders" with Glenn Ford, Henry Fonda, and Chill Wills,
("Whatever suits you just tickles me plumb to death.") or Jeremiah Johnson. Will Geer made that last movie what it was.
"Didn't put enough dirt down. Seen it right off."
