Well I was declined finance on the Ric today it's never happened to me before, I've probably had finance 20 times with no problems but I've just bought a new car so I suppose £11,000 worth of debt is going to make the finance company think twice. I'm devastated, even though I will have saved enough to pay cash by january or february I was really hoping to get it before christmas. I just feel really bad for the shop who ordered it in for me...they will be stuck with a beautiful 360/6 BBR! (though probably not for long)

Sorry to hear that Steven,what about a deposit to hold it over Xmas?

That's a good suggestion about the deposit, I'm not sure if the shop would do that, I'm already feeling really bad about the whole situation to start with but I could be worth a try, especially if I can put down a sizeable amount (£300-400).

And in regards to my new car...well to be honest I have OCD, I feel uncomfortable anything second hand because it seems like I could never accept it as my own (I know it's stupid) but the less said about that the better
