It's a good thing COY's aren't open to voting...

As I said in a related thread, I believe that the the nay-sayers are a vocal minority. If Jetglo wasn't a standard color and then offered as a COY, there would be a few who would hate it ... and let us know about it! :)

Paul B., do I sense a need for "financial planning" in your future? :)

Ilan,

IF that was a bass, I'd be in REALLY BIG trouble right now.
I just LOVE that guitar!

Oh my dear sweet lord that is a nice guitar. It's only missing six strings.

I'm a little woozy right now. If I had a chance at a 12-string like that I would be in big trouble with the wife.

Seriously, one of the reasons I have been scarce here is that I get all stirred up by pics like taht and then stuff starts getting sold so I can buy guitars. :-)

Gary C., only in the sense that I'd like to have one (OK, maybe more) of the "one-off" basses in my collection, but would like to know how soon this may happen. I can make the investment(s), but wouldn't want to buy the next one, then find out the one I REALLY would like comes down the chute a month from now.

Well I guess that I used to be the record holder of the newest factory 4003 with checkered binding, : (
Picture 033_1_1_1.jpg
This one was made in 2004 and was NOT exported to Japan.

When it was offered to me, money was not an issue when getting such a rare piece.

I have purchase 4 vintage Ric’s already within the last 30 days. I am really thinking hard on getting this new Ric Outlet one, but man am I broke!!!
