I use mine with the Janglebox and a silver-face DR, but the sound is virtually the same when I plug into the 65 re-issue DR that I also have. P.S. I stopped using the onboard compressor in my 370/12 RM after I got the Janglebox, and to me, it sounds more "Byrdlike" now.
