Congrats Gil,

I actually got to hold a DCM courtesy of Howard (when I was in Australia in November and December). I was thrilled and scared at the same time. Thrilled to hold it and scared of putting finger prints or worse on it. Howard was probably scared that I was gonna steal it.

They are fabulous instruments and the color is gorgeous when you see it in person. Enjoy.

Yesterday I plugged it in for the first time. it sounds incredible! I really thought I am in for a disappointment (don't know why), but it simply sounds great.
The finish is just amazing, the pictures don't really do justice to it as it looks much better in person.

The neck feels REALLY strange, it is comfortable - but very wide...

...you will get used to the neck width. It is great for finger style playing which is what I primarily do on guitar.
