Any chance of "Second Album" being re-released for those of us who missed it the first time around? Love the cover art on that one. Reminds me of Velvet Crush, among other things. And while we're on the subject of power pop, what on earth happened to The Shazam? Or Cotton Mather?

Ric Menck (sp?), VC's drummer, lives in LA and plays with Matthew Sweet, which you probably knew. He played the Ric 75th Anniversary show with Matthew and Sue. I loved "Hold Me Up" by VC - I had a 45 of it!

They had a new record out a year or so ago, I thought. Robert's sister Mary "O" is one of my best friends from Atlanta, and I sold her a Telecaster when I worked at GC/Rhythm City. I sold her [then] bandmate Jenny a Ric 610 from my collection too.

Kenny has been a rockstar for a long time now in my car, everytime "Gonna See Cheap Trick" comes up on the Ipod, it gets CRANKED!
