Strange; I had just e-mailed the guys in Wisconsin and the Chicago area to see if there was any interest in a Chicagoland confluence someday, but Cleveland would be just as good. Timing wise, I may have a problem as Dorothy and I are on an Alaskan tour/cruise in the first half of June, and I have a possibility of seeing Rush at Milwaukee's Summerfest on June 27 and a gig with my band on the 28th. The weekend of June 20-22 is good, as are the last three weekends in July. In any case, let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

Great stuff Jeff

We should be there as long as the date is open (band gig).

Not to hijack the thread, but I have been contacted by a few people who are wondering about MARF III, and where it may fall in the grand scope of things when planning trips to attend one or both events....

All I can say at this point is that we are shooting for a November 2008 timeframe, and I can't be more specific than that. We are waiting on other things to take place before locking in the date.

If, IF, we decide to make MARF III happen at a time later than November 2008, we'll let everyone know in plenty of time. I understand the desire of everyone to get together and have fun (as we always do :D ) and it's my wish that all of us can attend as many events as possible without the times overlapping.

Hey--we as Forumites try to have fun as much as possible...I'm proud of that fact.

I have family obligations at end of June, so it's not good timing for me.

At this point the best weekend looks like the 21st-22nd, with the 14th-15th as a second choice, hopefully Paul and Dorothy could make it, as well as John Allgaier.

Keep 'em coming folks! :D

HEY.....I get the shotgun! If anyone is actually serious I could probably get permission for a few ride-a-longs depending on schedules and whatnot. An issue is that I'm on dayshift which can be pretty hectic at times but boring days aren't that uncommon either. The evening shifts are more likely to bring some cool action (nothing like summertime in the ghetto) but, of course, that will also be prime Ric-fest time.

Let's not forget it's also baseball season so there are Tribe games as well for an outing if anyone is interested (depending on the weekend).

Scott Doseck is in Dayton and Steve Cooper/J. Gary are in Michigan.......we haven't seen any of them at a large fest yet so this could work out well.

Jeff.....let me know what I could do to help.....it's your ball sister so run with it. :P
