Joe Walsh probably has traded more guitars with more stars than anyone else...I keep reading stories about his involvement with guitars being gifted or traded with the likes of Jimmy Page, Pete Townshend and George Harrison.
One of my favorite stories I've read about Joe is that when he finally met one of his heroes, George Harrison, he raved about George's guitar solos in "And Your Bird Can Sing". George told him that it wasn't him, that was Paul and John playing lead guitar harmonies. As it turns out, Joe had spent weeks figuring out how to do it all on one guitar...and he pulled it off! Now there's a player.
