As discussed a while back in another thread, not all of Paul's guitars had (or have) stripes. The first one was a 366/12 MG that started to appear in early 1969 I believe. (After this film clip.)
I agree, John, not one of their better songs. It was just another (poor) example of Paul's science-fiction extravaganzas.Man, I could not get through that JA song.
