Today we have Meshugga Beach Party..a great bunch of guys (and one gal on keys). When my last band broke up I considered going for an audition as they were looking for a guitarist..didn't have the duds. They get lots of gigs...!

Today a very cool comp of many surf/instrumental bands...check it out..how many can you name (clue read the bass drum head,,hah)

From that subset of surf.."horror surf comes Messer Chups from Russia. At their shows they will have video's running of old monster/sleeze movies. Some of their videos of Youtube are a hoot....here we have the ever popular "Sex Change".

One substrata of the current surf music scene ic "horror surf" Two bands take the style in a light harted way..other do not. First...The Gastly Ones".....

Today we have our friends from Germany The Kilaueas. The Hallmark Swept Wing the guitarist is playing was obtained from my. I did have another that Paul W now has in his collection....

Thanks for the video Roy! The surf footage brings back many memories. The Atlantice were the pride of te Australian surf music scene in the 60's and some of there tunes are still covered today.
