I've bought cotton baby diapers at Target. Actually, that's where I got my supply of Scratch-X and Zymol, too. One stop shopping.

Yup...another classic going the way of the dodo...
Meanwhile we fill up the landfills with the cotton diaper's replacements ........

Paul: Thanks for showing us how to pamper our finishes once again. You have raised another interesting topic for me and that is the effect of our synthetic shirt sleeves on the finish of our instruments as we strum away.

I'm a bit more modest...

I prefer the bearskin for that "caveman" look.

Good one, Paul. I had a good laugh over this one. :) Time to work on my copper tone I guess.

Do you even get enough sun to make the effort worth it?

Paul: When I am playing my Rickenbacker 12 I feel like a wizard. Here I am ludicrously attired for my gig.

Need a little help ...

Are there specific instructions for using Scratch-X and Zymol on our guitars or should I just follow the instructions that come with the product? If someone can point me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated.

Andy, I've probably gone over the instructions and tips at length at least a dozen times on this and the RIC factory forum.

Try searching the two words on this forum, and if that doesn't yield results, give us another shout!

Thanks, Paul

Well, I read everything there is to know about this treatment.

Just returned from Wal-Mart (hate that place) with diapers, the black tube and Zymol. Now all I need is the time to strip her down and go to work.

Paul, I do have one question that I may have missed through the 25 pages of info. Is this treatment safe on the Blackstar fretboard?

Hmm, I usually wear a Super 120 wool, mohair, or sharkskin suit, something cotton, or occasionally, a leather vest when playing. :D :D
