Guess I can add my cats then....."Oops" our 14 year old female and recently departed after 18 years "Spooky and Ducati". None of them had a Rickenbacker but they did have lovely voices . Oops had peed on my sons basses because they are Not RICs ! No name yet for my FG4004Cii 4-2-5 . Hmmm....maybe call it Rath !

Named my 360-12 FG "Mary Jane", after Peter Parker's girlfriend with red hair, and as a tribute to the Tom Petty song.

Meet Dented.
This was given to me and it arrived this way. I didn't hit it with a hammer.
(The Second photo is the dent, if you can't tell.)

I photographed these guitars unrelated to this thread, but they are the only ones with names:
Blackie, Lucy, and Ric (go figure). All do their namesakes justice, and all have a permanent home - love 'em...

Like Ric36, I have a black American Strat w/maple fretboard dubbed "Blackie." That was my first decent electric guitar, and the only one of my collection that I have named.

650c Turquoise - "Jade"
660 BBR - "Jewel" (because of the color and a beauty mark)
I haven't named the other siblings yet but will soon.

This question is a little bit "full metal jacket"...

my 360 is "Lucy"
my Gibson SG is "Sibyl Vane"
"Turn on, tune in, drop out and play Ricks..."

Same here. I'm not a fan of the obvious names, so until I'm significantly inspired, they'll keep their definite articles and given indentifiers ("the Tele, the 330, the Strat copy", etc.)
