On Friday I'll be around all day, wearing this shirt in black. If you see me, say hi! I used to rock the Zappa mustache/soul patch combo when I had long hair, but now I have far less head hair and far more facial hair.

Speaking of Bang Camero, unless I'm mistaken, there is a JG 4001c64 in this video....for starters, look closely at around 1:44 and 2:04

That's true, except that I believe it's a 4001v63. I think he gets a nice Rick clank out of it, too. There are some good closeups in this video:

Bang Camaro. I'm a member of the Chicago chapter of their dude choir. They have 10-20 lead vocalists (all at once) for each show, and so when they tour, since they can't bring everyone, they have local guys supplement the choir. They put on a hell of a fun show, but make sure you get there early since I believe we're kicking off the whole thing at 11am on the Friday. That's ideal for me since I won't have messed up my voice yet :)

It's the most rock and roll thing you could possibly do before noon.
My son has this band on his "must see list" .So we will be there

One of these dudes is Jake. Great band. It's hard to understand how the concept of having all these singers on stage works without seeing it, but I thought it had tremendous energy, and the tunes were rocking. Not fai that other bands struggle to find excellent guitar players. This group has 3.

Thanks, Marc, and great pics. You can see a little bit of me on the very far left of the first one. Here's a close-up action shot (me on the left). I thought it was a pretty solid turnout for 11:30 am, and we made the front page of the Trib music section for kicking off the festival.

Three days of hanging out in the artists' lounge led to some pretty interesting stories that I'll write up soon. One of the highlights was signing Kyle Gass' guitar. Backwards, right?
